Engaging stakeholders to strengthen the local actions for stunting prevention and control in Lombok Barat

The determinants of stunting are complex and multisectoral. It is essential challenging to increase stakeholders’ engagement the relevant multisector partners in prevention control. This article aimed describe process control programs Lombok Barat, Indonesia. descriptive study was conducted with stakeholders as population Barat District, Indonesia from August – Desember 2022. Data were collected through observations documents. analysis done descriptively. showed that a continuous activity raise their awareness concerning issues encourage them be actively involved programs. Needs assessment internal planning development, lobbying advocacy, raising leader commitment, development strategies, capacity building accomplished this engage related interventions Barat. who should not limited health sector, but must include inter-sectoral due complexity determinants. Moreover, it necessary develop key messages according own needs. Additionally, leadership, leaders’ well commitment identified main social capital for community action efforts.
